Each card includes a sentence with errors in it and a number after it. The number represents how many mistakes the student needs to find and correct (3-4 per sentence).

These task cards are designed for second grade but could be used as a review for third grade. These task cards include a variety of questions at multiple skill levels.
Includes the following skills:
- punctuation
- capitalization of first word in a sentence and proper nouns
- contractions
- commas in a series
- correct spelling of sight words
- pronouns
- subject and verb agreement
- plural vs singular nouns
- apostrophe to show possession
Students will rewrite the sentence correctly on the recording sheet. I would suggest having them highlight the mistakes they corrected to make it easier for them (and you) to see what they’ve done.
